Tottenham face competition from Premier League rivals for Habib Diallo
Tottenham are one of four Premier League clubs interested in Metz forward Habib Diallo, according to The Sun (h/t Sky Sports).
The 24-year-old has scored eight goals in just 13 games for the Ligue 1 side. The forward has even represented Senegal during a recent international and is doing better than the previous campaign.
Diallo only scored one Ligue 1 goal during his last two seasons with Metz.
Newcastle are also keen on the striker while Tottenham and Chelsea have sent scouts to watch the 24-year-old (h/t Sky Sports).
The report adds that Leicester are also in the battle to sign Diallo, and a fee of £10m would be enough for Metz to sell their star.
It will be interesting to see how Diallo does for the remainder of the season, and a move cannot be ruled out if he continues scoring goals for fun.
Tottenham lack Kane cover
Spurs allowed Fernando Llorente and Vincent Janssen to leave in the summer without signing a replacement.
Harry Kane is our only recognised senior striker and we need someone to be back-up. Spurs could also do with a Plan B off the bench, but we have Troy Parrott on the books.
The youngster hasn’t been involved in several games this season but could get more minutes as the season progresses.
