Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen set to leave at the end of the season
Tottenham face a bit of an exodus in the summer as three players are set to leave for nothing.
Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen are on the final months of their contracts.
The Daily Mail (h/t Sky Sports) claims that the trio have all rejected new contracts with Spurs and will let their deals run down.
The report adds that Tottenham do not want to lose the trio, but their hands are tied.
Spurs not getting the right results
Tottenham’s season hasn’t gone well and we are in a tough situation with the players too.
Eriksen has struggled for goals and assists this season, having recorded just two strikes in the campaign.
The Dane was on the bench in our draw against Sheffield United and didn’t start in the win over Red Star Belgrade too.
Alderweireld and Vertonghen have also been dropped from the starting XI recently.
Mauricio Pochettino started Davinson Sanchez and Eric Dier as the centre-backs against Sheffield United.
It will be interesting to see if the pair continue as our first-choice centre-backs as some big games come.

Spurs need to get on a winning run or we could miss out on the top four. That would be a bit of a disaster, especially after we reached the final of the Champions League in the previous campaign.
