Juventus sporting director in London to discuss Mario Mandzukic transfer

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici is in London to discuss the transfer of Mario Mandzukic, according to Calciomercato.

The 33-year-old Croatian forward hasn’t played for Juventus this season and was linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer (h/t Calciomercato).

Mandzukic has been linked with an exit since the arrival of Maurizio Sarri and Paratici is in London to discuss an exit to United (h/t Calciomercato).

However, the Red Devils are willing to offer €10million while Juventus want €15m for the forward (h/t Calciomercato).

This could open the door for Tottenham to enter the fray as Paratici is also trying to find other buyers, according to the report.

Tottenham are interested in the former Atletico Madrid star and could move for him in the January window (h/t Calciomercato).

West Ham are also keen on the striker (h/t Calciomercato) and it will be interesting to see where Mandzukic lands in January.

A handful in the box

Mandzukic doesn’t have a great scoring record for Juventus, but he provides a lot of quality in the air.

The Croatian is great at winning headers and could provide Spurs with a different option in the attack.

Tottenham don’t have recognised cover for Harry Kane after allowing Fernando Llorente and Vincent Janssen to leave in the summer.

Mandzukic scored nine Serie A goals from 25 appearances in the previous season and provided six assists too.
