Daniel Levy could be open to Gareth Bale move in January transfer window
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is open to moving for Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, according to Bleacher Report (h/t Sun).
The Welsh attacker has struggled at Real Madrid and has been booed in the Spanish capital too.
Bale has two goals and two assists in the league for Zinedine Zidane’s men and was close to moving to China in the summer (h/t Sun).
However, Spurs could be a destination in the winter window as Jose Mourinho discussed Bale’s return with Levy (h/t Sun).
The report adds that Tottenham are open to submitting a loan deal in the winter window.
Real could agree to send the 30-year-old away if there is an obligation to make the move permanent in the summer (h/t Sun).
Bale has been great with Wales in recent months and took a shot at Real when he held up a flag.
The Welsh flag read “Wales. Golf. Madrid…..In that order” and it will be interesting to see how things go for him in the coming weeks.
Interesting window ahead for Spurs
Mourinho has won both games in charge with Spurs, however, we could do with some fresh faces too.
Bale is still a quality player and could do a decent job for us, however, his age is a problem.
