Tottenham keen on landing Lorenzo Pellegrini and Ben Godfrey
Tottenham are planning to sign two youngsters as Jose Mourinho’s rebuild of the squad is yet to begin.
It will be interesting to see if we make any moves in the winter window, however, there are two targets already on Spurs’ radar.
Calciomercato (h/t Guardian) claims that Lorenzo Pellegrini is an option for Mourinho’s side. The 23-year-old has been one of the most consistent players for AS Roma over the past two years.
Pellegrini has six assists from eight Serie A games this season and is a regular for the Italy national team too.
The 23-year-old is capable of playing as an attacking midfielder but has also featured as a left-winger for Roma this season.
Spurs are also looking at another rising talent, but this starlet is far closer to home.
Norwich starlet on the radar
Daniel Farke has some quality players in his Norwich side and Ben Godfrey is a target for Spurs (h/t Guardian).
The English centre-back has featured in all 15 of Norwich’s Premier League games this season and has impressed.
The Canaries haven’t been consistent this season and are in a relegation battle. However, Godfrey has been one of the better performers for the promoted side.
The youngster could solve our centre-back issues as Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld are free agents in the summer.
