Christian Eriksen to snub Manchester United in January ahead of big summer
Tottenham star Christian Eriksen is set to snub Manchester United’s advances in January, according to the Daily Star.
The Dane is a free agent in the summer and can speak with foreign clubs in the winter window.
United are set to be rejected a second time in six months despite considering a cut-price offer of £20m (h/t Daily Star).
Eriksen will be a bigger attraction in the summer since he is a free agent and there is no price-tag on him.
The 27-year-old has been inconsistent since the start of the campaign and isn’t a regular under new boss Jose Mourinho.
Spurs keen on keeping Dane
Although the Dane could leave for nothing next season, Mourinho is keen on keeping the 27-year-old and extending his stay (h/t Daily Star).
Daniel Levy, however, is open to letting Eriksen leave for a price of £25m (h/t Daily Star).
Spurs have issues with some players and their contracts. They were able to finalise a new deal for Toby Alderweireld, who will extend his stay for three-and-a-half years.
Jan Vertonghen is another senior player who is a free agent in the summer, and it will be interesting to see what happens with the Belgian.

Eriksen, for his part, is still one of the best in the Premier League. However, his performances this season suggest his head is somewhere else.
