Benrahma, who joined Brentford from French side Nice in 2018, has racked up 64 appearances for The Bees while scoring 14 goals. (h/t Whoscored)

Having spent most of his time at Nice either in the second string or out on loan, Benrahma has impressed since his move to England in 2018.

With Spurs in need of adding depth to the team in the coming window, Benrahma would prove to be a young and potentially dynamic signing.

A Hidden Gem?

Benrahma is quick on his feet with a bagful of flicks and tricks. His ability on the ball, coupled with his excellent close control, helps him dribble past opponents with ease.

With Spurs currently lacking options off the bench, Benrahma could be the player who adds dynamism to the attack with his mix of energy and pace. If utilized well, he could turn out to be a game-changer for us.

Tottenham could face stiff competition for the Algerian’s signature from fellow Premier League side Aston Villa. Current Villa manager Dean Smith is a huge fan of the player, having signed Benrahma in 2018 when he was the manager at Brentford. (h/t Birmingham Mail)

At the age of 24, Benrahma has age on his side and it certainly makes sense for Spurs to purchase a player of his qualities.
