“Disgustingly brilliant”: Some Tottenham fans react to this star’s spectacular finish against Brighton

Twitter reacts as Dele Alli fires Spurs to victory against Brighton

Tottenham got back to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Brighton at home, keeping them in the race for the top four.

The highlight of the game was a ridiculous finish by Dele Alli after a well-worked move by Spurs. This is his 6th goal of the season, eclipsing his tally of 5 for the whole of 2018-19.

Alli has found a new lease of life under Jose Mourinho, having scored 5 goals and earnt 3 assists after the Portuguese manager’s appointment. (h/t Whoscored)

The win takes Spurs to fifth, three points behind Chelsea, who occupy the last Champions League spot.

Although the Englishman did not have the best of games, it will have pleased supporters to see him turn up when it mattered.

An Adam Webster goal put Brighton one up at the break and it took a spirited fightback from Spurs in the second half to come away with the win.

Harry Kane brought Spurs level with a finish at the near post and Dele Alli finished off a well-worked team goal to earn all 3 points.

Spurs fans have taken to twitter to voice their joy at Alli’s finish.
