Edwards joined Portuguese side Vitória de Guimarães in the summer on a four-year deal. The Englishman is a talented player, who can dribble and create chances. His set-piece abilities and prowess in front of the goal earnt him the nickname ‘Mini Messi’ while at Spurs. (h/t Football London)

The 21-year-old is versatile and can play in both attacking midfield and as a winger. Edwards has made 13 appearances for Vitoria this season, scoring 4 goals and assisting 3. (h/t Whoscored)

During his time at Tottenham, the starlet made one appearance for the club against Gillingham in the League Cup in 2016.

Edwards has a buyout clause of £13.6million but with a 50% sell-on clause held by Spurs should give us a reasonable bargaining chip in negotiating for the player.

At the age of 21, Edwards still has time to develop and grow into an effective player for Spurs under Mourinho.

He scored his first goal for Vitoria against Spurs’ arch-rivals Arsenal in a 3-2 loss in the Europa League.
