Eriksen is out of contract in the summer and is not likely to extend his contract at the club. Spurs are willing to let him in January for the right price. Manchester United are one of the clubs interested in the Danish superstar’s signature.
However, with the player available on a free in the summer, United are prepared to wait till the summer to sign the player on a free instead of having to fork out £40m in January. This should make Eriksen one of the biggest names signed in recent history on a free.

Real Madrid has been touted as a possible destination for the midfielder. His ability to dictate play from deep makes him an ideal replacement for an aging Luka Modric.
With the emergence of Federico Valverde, Madrid will not prioritize Eriksen as a signing.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer sees him as a prime target as he rebuilds his midfield. He will bring both inspiration and experience to a United midfield that’s crying out for both.
