With Harry Kane out injured, it comes as no surprise that Spurs have been linked with a plethora of forwards like Edinson Cavani, Diego Costa, and Victor Osimhen among others.
Former manager Harry Redknapp, however, believes that Spurs should be targetting Colombian forward Alfredo Morelos, who currently plays for Rangers in the Scottish Premier League.
The striker who signed for Rangers in 2017 from HJK Helsinki, has enjoyed a stellar season so far and has scored 22 goals in 29 games for the Scottish giants. (h/t Whoscored)
Redknapp was pretty vocal about signing the player and went on say that the Colombian would set the place alight.
“I would take him, yeah. I’d have a go. He is right up my street. I’ll have him, I’d love him! He could come and set the place alight, couldn’t he.”
Morelos stated that it would be a good move for him to the Premier League and he will just have to take the opportunity when it comes. The Colombian won the Scottish Premiership golden boot in the 2018-19 season as Steven Gerrard’s side finished as runner-up to Celtic.
