Jose Mourinho is interested in securing the striker’s services in the January transfer window- with Harry Kane ruled out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.
The Uruguayan superstar’s contract at PSG runs out this summer and the player looks set to leave after a trophy-laden 7 seasons in the French capital.
Having joined from Napoli in 2013, Cavani has gone on to make 290 appearances for PSG scoring 198 goals. (h/t Whoscored)
Mauro Icardi’s fine form has led to Cavani’s appearances being limited this season. Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea are also interested in signing the 32-year-old star. (h/t Daily Mail)
The transfers of Krzysztof Piatek and Ze Luis look to be off, with Spurs set to pursue other alternatives.

PSG are likely to sell the striker for a cut-price deal in January rather than lose him for a free in the summer.
