Tottenham keen on 23-year-old Amiens striker Serhou Guirassy
Tottenham Hotspur have been keeping tabs on Amiens striker Serhou Guirassy, according to Daily Mail.
The 23-year-old was the star of the show in the 4-4 draw against Paris Saint-Germain. He scored twice including a stoppage-time equalizer as the French minnows held the defending champions.
The player was involved in all four of his team’s goals and could have bagged himself a hat-trick had it not been for Keylor Navas’ legs. The double takes his tally to eight for the season in 21 games in the French top-flight. (h/t Whoscored)
Tottenham’s chief scout Brian Carey was in the stands to look at a number of players and was left suitably impressed with Guirassy’s display.
Guirassy joined Amiens on loan in 2018 before making the deal permanent last summer. Brought in for a modest £5million, the French side now value him at around £18million. With the team fighting relegation, the money generated from his sale will come as a boon if the worst comes to pass.
The 23-year-old had previously drawn interest from the likes of Brighton and Hove Albion, Bournemouth and even Manchester United, while the likes of Leicester City, Aston Villa and Celtic are also keeping tabs. (h/t Daily Mail)
