Emil Forsberg played a part in the 1-0 win over Tottenham in the Champions League
Emil Forsberg came on as a substitute against Tottenham recently, and his agent has spoken out about the future of the RB Leipzig star.
The 28-year-old Sweden international has been impressive at Leipzig for a number of years. The Bundesliga side are second in the league, just one point behind Bayern Munich.
Forsberg didn’t start in their 1-0 win over us in the Champions League but has nine goals to his name for Leipzig this season (h/t WhoScored).
Jose Mourinho spoke about the 28-year-old and the player’s agent praised the boss a lot when asked about a possible move (h/t Football.london):
“Nothing that surprises me at all. Mourinho is a great legend who has worked with Victor Nilsson Lindelöf as well.”
The agent also provided a cryptic response regarding the future of the winger:
“Together with Victor, Forsberg is the biggest star in the national team and has caused total chaos in Leipzig.
“I can say this … everyone will soon see what will happen to Emil Forsberg.”
Tottenham need attacking options
Spurs could do with more attackers coming in, and our options currently are extremely thin.
It was great that we signed Steven Bergwijn in the winter window as Harry Kane and Son Heung-min seem to be out for a long time.
