Harry Kane is one of the targets for Zinedine Zidane in the summer
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane wants to sign a No.9 in the summer, according to Diario Madridista (h/t Express).
The La Liga giants haven’t been firing on all cylinders this season, and Zidane has three targets for the summer (h/t Express).
Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland are the two options for Zidane, while Harry Kane is the third choice, according to the report.
Madrid fear they might be priced out of a move for PSG’s Mbappe, and the decision has to be made between the other two forwards (h/t Express).
Kane is one of the best forwards in the world but hasn’t featured for Tottenham since the 1-0 loss to Southampton. The Englishman was expected to be out until the end of the season, however, that might change given the coronavirus issue.
The Premier League has been suspended until the first week of April and no decision has been made on when the competition could resume.
Kane is an important player for Spurs but there is another club keen on him.
Blow to United
The report adds that Madrid’s interest is a blow to Manchester United. The Red Devils were keen on Haaland too but the Norwegian opted to join Borussia Dortmund.
Jose Mourinho needs to keep hold of Kane at all costs. The Englishman is in his prime and will only improve in the coming years.
Mourinho can build his team around the Englishman, and he is possibly the best player we have had since Gareth Bale.
Kane does have his injury concerns but he always comes back with a bang. Hopefully, he can play some part in the remainder of the season, whenever it starts.

The Englishman is still our top-scorer this season with 17 goals and a couple of assists. Son Heung-min is the next best scorer, but he too is out for a while with a fractured hand.
