Tottenham Hotspur release statement after EPL extends shutdown
According to Football.london, Tottenham Hotspur have responded to the Premier League’s decision to extend the league’s suspension by releasing information about tickets for fans.
The FA’s decision comes following the worsening of the coronavirus pandemic across the world. The earlier decision of suspending fixtures until April 3 has now been extended until April 30.
They also reiterated their commitment to look for a way to resume the current season. This has led to them extending the FA limits on when the season can be completed. This extension will lead to the reschedule of four fixtures, with the most prominent of them being the North London derby against Arsenal.
To the relief of fans, the club has confirmed that all the ticket holders including season ticket holders and those who have purchased via ticket exchange can use the same for the rescheduled matches.
It has also been revealed that in case any season ticket holders who have sold their tickets via ticket exchange want to attend the rescheduled fixture, they can purchase available seats once the new dates are confirmed.
In the event that anyone with a ticket is unable to attend the game, then they can submit the refund form available on Ask Spurs and claim their reimbursement. In regards to the Barclays FA Women’s Super League matches, one can get in touch with the club at ‘tellus@thehivelondon.com’ to obtain a refund.
Fans have also been advised to speak to the travel providers directly regarding any pre-arranged travel requirements. The bookings made through Big Green coach service can email customerservice@biggreencoach.co.uk.
