Harry Kane among three players tipped to leave Spurs in the summer
With March coming to a close, it is usually the time that clubs including Tottenham Hotspur start planning to make their decisions for the summer transfer window. Although the coronavirus pandemic has thrown things into disarray, it has now stopped pundits from making their predictions.
According to ESPN FC pundit Alejandro Moreno (h/t Express), Harry Kane is among three stars tipped to leave the club in the summer. Apart from our ace striker, he also believes it is time Eric Dier and Ben Davies are moved on.
The England captain has been tipped to leave the club after another trophyless season in North London. In spite of having not played for the club since January, Kane is still our top scorer with 17.
Having come through the ranks at Tottenham, Kane has been at the club to close to two decades. Moreno believes that the player must keep his emotional prejudice aside and seek a move elsewhere to further his career.
Moren went on to admit that Spurs stars and fans will undoubtedly want him to stay put but if he has the player he would evaluate his side’s chances of competing with the best. Tottenham have failed to build upon last season’s run to the Champions League final. We have if anything, fallen even further behind.
“You have to make a pragmatic decision and what’s best for you and your career.”

He also went on to add that Eric Dier has failed to progress at Tottenham and has actually gone backwards. Moreno has admitted that a change of scenery will do the versatile midfielder well.
“I think he could do, personally, with a change of scenery.”
Davies has been injured for a portion of the season. He has proved to be a dependable option at left-back following his return from injury. This is the first time we have seen him being linked away.
