Jose Mourinho has named his Dream XI with no Tottenham players featuring in it
As reported by Metro, Jose Mourinho has named a dream XI comprising of players from teams that he has managed in his career. However, no Tottenham players feature in the side picked by the Portuguese.
Mourinho is one of the most decorated managers in football. The current Tottenham boss has seen great success with the likes of Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid. Along the way, he has had the privilege of working with some of the best players.
And when asked to pick an ultimate XI from the clubs he has coached so far, Mourinho’s side did not contain any players from our club. There was nobody selected from Manchester United either, the club he last coached before joining us.
Majority of the players in Jose’s dream XI were from his time at Chelsea. Former Blues Petr Cech, William Gallas, John Terry, Claude Makelele, Frank Lampard, Eden Hazard and Didier Drogba all got picked. Ricardo Carvalho, who worked with Mou at Porto, Chelsea and Real Madrid also featured in the side.
Inter Milan legend Javier Zanetti has also been picked by Mourinho. Mesut Ozil and Cristiano Ronaldo, both of whom worked with the Portuguese at Real Madrid, also make the cut. (h/t Metro)

It isn’t surprising that Mourinho didn’t pick anyone from Tottenham in his dream XI. The Portuguese has been at the club only since November, having replaced Mauricio Pochettino.
Things began in a positive manner for him at Spurs. But the team’s form had nosedived prior to football getting suspended. Hopefully, he will be able to get the team back to its best when the season resumes.
