Jose Mourinho takes part in Tottenham’s virtual training sessions
Jose Mourinho has been spotted working up a sweat as Tottenham Hotspur continue with their virtual training sessions. In a video posted by the club’s official Twitter account, the Portuguese tactician is seen on an exercise bike as he leads the training sessions.
With the lockdown in place due to the coronavirus pandemic, Tottenham have started virtual training sessions via video-link on Monday.

Mourinho, along with a couple of his coaching staff, have been at the club’s Hotspur Way training facilities to oversee the virtual training sessions and the boss can be seen actively participating in the session in the video. The Portuguese is seen working out on an electric bike and performing some stretches as well.
The likes of Hugo Lloris, Toby Alderweireld, Harry Winks, Dele Alli, Ben Davies, among many others, were also seen working on their fitness in the video posted on Twitter.
The Premier League season is currently suspended till the end of this month due to the pandemic. It remains unclear as to when footballing action will resume, if at all it does.

In any case, it is a good step taken by Mourinho & co. to set up and monitor these virtual training sessions. It will ensure that the players stay in shape during lockdown and are ready to go when the season resumes. It is also great to see the manager himself actively leading these sessions.
Tottenham are currently eighth in the Premier League table, seven points behind Chelsea in fourth place.
