Lucas Moura re-watches Tottenham’s Champions League semi-final win against Ajax
With football suspended and lockdown enforced due to coronavirus, players are having to find ways to keep themselves busy. And Tottenham star Lucas Moura has been keeping himself occupied by re-watching our Champions League semi-final clash against Ajax from last season. (h/t Twitter)
It was a magical night for Tottenham and its fans. Playing in the second leg of the semi-final, in Amsterdam, we were three goals down on aggregate with thirty-five minutes to be played.
And then, Lucas unleashed his best, going on to score three goals, that included a last-gasp winner, to pull off a historic comeback and send us into the final.

And our hero from that night, Lucas Moura, has been reliving that moment during the lockdown period. The 27-year-old has labelled his post of re-watching the semi-final win against Ajax as “the most magical moment of my career.”
The result in the final against Liverpool might not have gone our way, as we lost 2-0 to Jurgen Klopp’s side. But, the memories from that epic night against Ajax will be cherished by the fans forever.

Lucas Moura, who arrived at Tottenham in January 2018, has enjoyed another fairly solid campaign in 2019-20. The 27-year-old attacker has scored 7 goals and assisted 3 more in 39 matches across all competitions. Here’s hoping that the Brazilian international produces more magical moments like the one in Amsterdam last year.
