Paulo Gazzaniga recommends Jorman Campuzano to Mourinho

Tottenham will be facing a busy summer ahead after what has been a disappointing campaign so far. The Lilywhites are currently eighth in the Premier League table and are already out of all cup competitions. And backup goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga has come up with a suggestion to reinforce our midfield department with 23-year-old enforcer Jorman Campuzano. Speaking to TYC (h/t Express), the Argentine shot-stopper said:

“If Mourinho asks me for a reinforcement of Argentine soccer, I tell him to bring Jorman Campuzano.”

Who is Jorman Campuzano?

Campuzano is a defensive midfielder by trade who came through the youth ranks of Colombian club Pereira. The 23-year-old made the move to South American giants Boca Juniors in January last year and helped the club win the league title in his debut campaign.

The 23-year-old broke into the Colombian national team in September 2018 and has made two appearances for the South American nation so far.

Defensive midfield is an area where Tottenham should look to reinforce in the summer. And while Campuzano might not be a household name in Europe, Gazzaniga would know a thing or two about the midfielder, given that the 23-year-old plays in one of the top clubs from our backup goalkeeper’s homeland.
