Tottenham choose Moussa Sissoko to represent club in the ePremier League Invitational

Some of the Premier League’s top stars will represent their clubs in the inaugural ePremier League Invitational, according to a release from the league.

The coronavirus has suspended all football activity in England. However, eSports seems to have taken on a new life during the lockdown.

Spurs’ representative for the EA Sports Stay and Play Cup was Serge Aurier. Now, the club has decided on who will play for us in the ePremier League Invitational.

Moussa Sissoko is the one to represent us in the new competition. However, the midfielder has some tough competition ahead of him too.

Big names prepare for tournament

Sissoko has played FIFA in the past, and it will be interesting to see how he does in this FIFA 20 tournament.

However, the Frenchman will be up against the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace) and Raheem Sterling (Manchester City).

The competition is a knockout tournament and the final will be shown live on Sky Sports on 25 April.

That draw takes place on 20 April with the competition going all the way till the 25th of the month. There are two rounds before the quarter-final takes place on 24 April.

All the players are to participate from their respective homes. The prize money will be donated to the #PlayersTogether initiative, which was created to help the NHS. Moreover, the release also added that the idea was to push forward the idea of “staying home and saving lives”.

Sissoko might not have been able to win us any silverware but we could come out on top of the inaugural competition.
