Spurs Transfer Rumours: PSG want Spurs’ star on loan, club tell defender to find new club

Tottenham Hotspur are in the headlines even when the football on the pitch is suspended. We take a look at the latest Spurs transfer news and rumours of the day.

PSG want Tanguy Ndombele on loan

According to a report from French outlet Le10Sport, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele on loan in the summer. The 23-year-old Frenchman’s future has been much talked about of late, with reports linking him with Barcelona.

The Catalans though, have refused the chance to sign him, with PSG now taking a keen interest in the midfielder. Ndombele has struggled to meet expectations since arriving at the club in a record deal last summer. The report claims that while PSG want to sign Ndombele on loan, Spurs are looking to offload him permanently.

Jose Mourinho is not ready to quit on the 23-year-old Frenchman, despite having been critical of him in the past. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for our midfield sensation.

Spurs to tell Juan Foyth to find new club

Football Insider reports that Tottenham are set to tell Argentine defender Juan Foyth to find a new club in the summer. The 22-year-old was signed from Estudiantes in a £8m deal back in 2017. While he did show promise early on his career, injuries and mistakes have blighted his 2019/20 campaign.

The report states that having blocked a January move for Foyth, Spurs are now ready to offload him, as he has failed to make much of an impression on Mourinho.

Foyth himself had stated that he is open to an exit if regular game-time isn’t forthcoming. And it seems like the Argentine defender will be on the move when the transfer window opens.

Tottenham prepared to sell Danny Rose for as less as £5m

Another report from Football Insider states that Tottenham Hotspur are willing to offload defender Danny Rose for as less as £5m as transfer fees continue to tumble due to the coronavirus effect.

Rose left Spurs in January to join Newcastle United on loan till the end of the season. It was pretty much expected that the England international would be sold in the summer, as he was entering the final year of his contract.

Spurs valued the left-back at £20m last summer. But with finances of all clubs taking a severe hit due to the pandemic, the club is now prepared to sell him for as less as £5m.

Liverpool linked with Tottenham target Kalidou Koulibaly

Liverpool have entered the race to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, who is also on the radars of Tottenham Hotspur. The Senegalese defender had been a target for Spurs in January and more recently Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio tipped the North London outfit to be in with a chance to sign him this summer.

However, now according to Tuttomercatoweb, Liverpool have opened negotiations with Napoli to land the 28-year-old defender. An alternate report from Le10Sport also claims that Newcastle United, set to be backed by their new owners, are also keen on signing Koulibaly.

A world-class defender in his peak years, Koulibaly would have been a great addition to our club, especially with Jan Vertonghen on the move. But with so many clubs vying for his signature, it has become increasingly difficult for Spurs to sign him.
