Twitter reacts to Peter Schmeichel choosing Son Heung-min
Son Heung-min has proven to be a massive piece of business by Tottenham Hotspur. Signed from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, he is today a key member of the Spurs squad.
His success has not gone unnoticed outside North London either. It appears Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel is a fan.
The former Danish star took to Twitter to answer a number of questions from fans. One such query revolved around a realistic target he would like United to sign.
Schmeichel chose to go with Son as his preferred choice. To Spurs fans, it will come as no surprise.

The South Korean is the first Asian player to score 50 goals in the English Premier League. His current tally stands at an impressive 51 goals and 30 assists in 151 appearances in the top-flight.
Still just 27, he has a number of his best years ahead of him. Although United would love to have the player, there has so far been no noises from Son about quitting Spurs.
With his current contract at the club running until 2023, Tottenham hold all the aces when it comes to negotiations. (h/t BBC)
With Jose Mourinho at the helm, Spurs are intent on breaking into the top four. Son is a key part of our ambition to do so and will be at Spurs for years to come. Son is now back in England after finishing his military training. With his injury behind now, he will now look to light up the Premier League once again.
Schmeichel’s reply garnered attention from a number of Spurs fans. We take a look at a few of them below.

There’s no way Jose or levy will sell son. He’d be so hard to replace. We need defenders. We can easily sell players like Dier etc to get extra cash

As a spurs fan from my point of view is that there’s no levy would sell. Not this summer anyway with all the covid stuff that’s happened. I think transfers as a whole will be massively affected because of this
