Twitter reacts to Danny Rose predictions for Mauricio Pochettino
Speaking on the Lockdown Tactics Podcast (h/t Standard), Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose has backed former boss Mauricio Pochettino to take over at Manchester United in the future.
The Argentine was sacked by Spurs last November. It brought his five and a half year tenure to an anticlimactic end. Under his tenure, Spurs rose to become one of the best teams in the country and Europe. Unfortunately, in spite of the progress, he could not lead us to a title.
This has not, however, in any way reduced his demand in the market. He has consistently been linked with a move to both Real Madrid and United. Rose believes that his former boss will eventually end up at the latter.
“Eventually United.”
With his gardening leave ending on Monday, the Argentine is now free to join any club of his choice. He has also been linked with the Newcastle United job.
Whether he eventually ends up at Old Trafford or not remains to be seen. This did not stop a number of fans from taking to Twitter to express their opinions on the topic.
