Twitter reacts As Harry Redknapp is offered Nigeria job
According to ESPN, former Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp could be set to make a return to management with the Nigeria national team.
The 73-year-old has not managed a team since he left Birmingham City in 2017. If he does take over the Super Eagles, it will be his second foray into the international scene. He had earlier managed Jordan in 2016.
The Nigerian Football Federation is hoping to persuade coach Gernot Rohr to extend his current deal. If he does not, Redknapp has been touted as the leading candidate to take over.
The veteran manager was in charge at White Hart Lane for four years. During that time he took us to the Champions League for the first time in our history.
Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to react to him being linked to the African giants. We take a look at a few of them below.
