Tottenham Hotspur open to extending Danny Rose loan at Newcastle United

According to the Express, Tottenham Hotspur are open to extending the loan of Danny Rose at Newcastle United.

It was confirmed by Sky Sports that both clubs are currently in talks regarding the defender’s future. Rose was loaned out to the Magpies in January. The agreement does not include an option to buy. With the deal set to expire on June 30, clarity regarding his future is yet to be ascertained.

Newcastle are keen to keep the full-back until the end of the season and are keen to reach an agreement that will permit them to do so.

Rose is also keen to stay on at Tyneside. He has been left frustrated by his experiences at Tottenham. His comments appear to suggest that he has had enough of life in North London and is keen on a move. (h/t Guardian)

Sprouting such negativity will be a hindrance to the squad and Spurs should keep him as far away as possible.

Rose is under contract with Tottenham until the summer of 2021. He had previously said he will see out the remainder of his deal before leaving Spurs permanently. (h/y Sky Sports)

It will bring to an end a 13-year association with the club. In that time, he has made 214 appearances while scoring 10 goals and 29 assists. (h/t Transfermarkt)
