Tottenham Hotspur offered a chance to sign Aaron Ramsey on loan
According to a report from The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur have been offered the chance to sign former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey on loan from Juventus this summer.
Ramsey, 29, left the Gunners last summer to join Juventus on a free transfer. However, he hasn’t been able to establish himself as a regular in Maurizio Sarri’s side. The Welsh international has featured 24 times across all competitions for the Italian champions, bagging four goals and an assist.
With Juventus facing difficult financial times due to the pandemic, they are open to offloading him this summer as they look to cut costs. And Tottenham are one among a number of Premier League clubs offered the chance to sign the 29-year-old, with Manchester United and Manchester City are also touted as potential destinations. A proven performer in the Premier League, his history with our rival club may deter from the club making a move. In addition, the 29-year-old’s £400,000-a-week wages will also be difficult to match given the current financial climate. However, the report claims that a loan deal could be worked out with the wages being split between the two clubs.
The update got a lot of the fans talking on social media. And here are some of the reactions from the Tottenham supporters on the possibility of Ramsey joining the club.
