Tottenham Confirmed XI vs West Ham:
Tottenham will be looking to get back to winning ways when they host local rivals West Ham United in their second Premier League game after the restart of the season.
As things stand, Tottenham are eighth in the Premier League table, nine points below Chelsea in fourth. Having been held to a 1-1 draw by Manchester United last time out, Jose Mourinho & co. will need to bag all three points on Friday, to keep the hopes of a top four finish alive.
With that in mind, Mourinho has named a strong starting XI, albeit making three alterations to the lineup that took the field against Manchester United.
Giovani Lo Celso starts in place of Harry Winks, while Dele Alli, who is back from suspension, gets the nod over Erik Lamela.
In a bit of a surprise selection, Mourinho has decided to bench Steven Bergwijn, who scored Tottenham’s only goal against United. In his stead, Lucas Moura, who has returned from injury, starts in attack. The Brazilian partners Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in the final third.
