Inter Milan interested in Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele
According to a report from Corriere dello Sport (h/t Football.london), Inter Milan are interested in making a summer move for Tottenham midfield star Tanguy Ndombele.
The 23-year-old Ndombele joined Tottenham from French club Olympique Lyon last summer, in a club-record transfer. However, things have hardly gone according to plans for both player and the club.
It has been a debut season to forget for the French international, as he has struggled to make any sort of impact, despite scoring on his debut. Things have gotten only worse for him since Jose Mourinho took over the reins last November.
Ndombele has hardly been used by the Portuguese manager and has been critical of the midfielder in public on a number of occasions. The Frenchman hasn’t started a single game since March and featured just twice as a substitute since the season resumed last month, before succumbing to another injury.
All this has led to serious speculations over his future, with the report claiming that Tottenham could be open to letting him go in the summer. And Inter Milan are ready to pounce on the opportunity to land the midfielder as manager Antonio Conte is believed to be an admirer of his abilities. (h/t Football.london)
The report further adds that the club could be open to allow one of their players that to move the other way as part of the deal. And Tottenham, too, would be willing to consider such an arrangement, provided we can sign either Marcelo Brozovic or Milan Skriniar in exchange. (h/t Football.london)

Either of Brozovic and Skriniar would be excellent additions to our squad without question. However, given their importance for Inter, it is hard to see them letting even one of the two leave in the summer.
