Juventus ready to sell Paulo Dybala for £100m
According to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Football.london), Serie A champions Juventus are ready to offload star attacker Paulo Dybala, who has been a long-term target for Tottenham, this summer.
The 26-year-old has been with the Turin based outfit for five years now, having joined from Palermo back in the summer of 2015. During his time at the club, Dybala has grown into one of the best forwards in the game.
A long-term target for Tottenham Hotspur, Dybala came close to making the switch to North London last summer. However, club chairman Daniel Levy pulled out of the deal at the last moment, due to concerns over the forward’s image rights. (h/t Football.london)
Having stayed put at Juventus, Dybala enjoyed a fine campaign, bagging 17 goals and 14 assists in 46 matches in all competitions, helping the club to the Serie A title. He was named the MVP of the Season for 2019/20 in the Serie A for his performances.
Tottenham may have missed out on the signing of the Argentine international last time out. But another chance to capture his transfer may have presented itself now.
Following the change of managers at Juventus, the 26-year-old could be put up for sale, as he isn’t part of new boss Andrea Pirlo’s plans. However, any deal for Dybala is likely to cost £100m. (h/t Football.london)

Levy & co. missed the trick by passing up the chance to sign Dybala last summer. And while he may be available again this summer, the club’s difficult financial situation will make it next to impossible for us to sign him.
