Oliver Skipp joins Norwich City on loan

The 19-year-old came through the youth ranks at Tottenham, making his first-team debut in 2018. Till date, he has made 23 first-team appearances, in which he has registered two assists. 11 of his 23 senior appearances came in the recently concluded 2019/20 season.
Manager Jose Mourinho clearly rates Skipp highly, having tipped him to become a club captain in the future. However, following the summer arrival of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, the youngster wasn’t likely to get a whole lot of opportunities in the first-team.
So, the club has decided to send him out loan to Norwich City, who were relegated from the Premier League this past season. (h/t Canaries.co.uk)
“I haven’t played as much football as I’d want but this is a massive opportunity and hopefully I’ll show the fans that I’m capable of taking it.”

Sad to see him go, would have hoped he’d be part of the set up but more game time is only a positive, he’ll smash it and come back better 💪🏻

I wanted him to breakthrough this season and think he deserved to. He’ll prove himself this season, then he’ll have to come through to the first XI.
