This comes after Alli had been taken off by Jose Mourinho at half-time in the club’s Premier League season opener against Everton this past weekend. This has led to speculations over the future of the England international. (h/t Daily Mail)

Alli has been with the club for five years now, but has had a difficult couple of years. The 24-year-old has struggled to live up to the lofty standards that he set for himself in his early years at the club.

However, it has been claimed that all is not well between him and manager Mourinho. And it is being said that there is a possibility that he might consider a switch away from the club in order to reinvigorate his career and work his way back into the England national team ahead of the European championships next year. Mourinho, for his part, has insisted that there are no issues between him and Alli. However, the fact that the former MK Dons ace has been left out of the squad for an important fixture will only serve to further fuel the fire.

It was suggested that Tottenham were considering using Alli as a makeweight in the deal that would see Gareth Bale join from Real Madrid. However, that has been shot down by the La Liga champions. (h/t Express)

The report also claims that PSG and Inter Milan, who are long-term admirers of the midfielder, could register an interest, should Alli be inclined towards a move.
