Tottenham Hotspur offer Juan Foyth in part exchange for Milan Skriniar
According to Football.london, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to offer Juan Foyth as part of a player plus cash exchange deal for Inter Milan star Milan Skriniar.
Having signed Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon, Spurs are now keen to sign a centre-back. Having lost Jan Vertonghen at the end of last season, we are an option short at the back.
Skriniar too is keen to make the switch to Spurs and is ready to play for Jose Mourinho. (h/t Football.london)
Tottenham have been in talks with the Italians but have been unable to lower Inter’s asking price. The Nerazzurri currently value the player at around £45m. (h/t Football.london)
Spurs meanwhile are willing to pay £32million with extra in add-ons. Tottenham will need to raise funds from player sales to complete the move and have offered players, including Foyth, to the Serie A side in exchange. Inter, however, are not keen and have rejected the offers. (h/t Football.london)
To date, Foyth has made just 32 first-team appearances, scoring a solitary goal in the process. The previous season saw him feature just seven times across all competitions, with injuries and poor form a major reason for his lack of game time.
The emergence of Japhet Tanganga also hindered his first-team chances last season. It would appear that the Argentine’s time at Spurs is coming to a close. Whether Inter is his next destination remains to be seen.

Bringing in Skriniar would add enough cover for us at the back. With enough reinforcements at his disposal, Mourinho will have enough at his disposal to compete for trophies.
