Three Premier League clubs chasing Ryan Sessegnon loan deal
According to The Telegraph, Burnley, Southampton and Brighton & Hove Albion are all interested in signing Tottenham youngster Ryan Sessegnon on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old joined Tottenham from Fulham last summer, but endured a difficult debut campaign as injuries and a lack of faith from Jose Mourinho meant he rarely featured. Sessegnon ended the campaign with just 12 appearances across all competitions.
In the new season, Sessegnon is yet to take the field and hasn’t made it to the matchday squad in three of Tottenham’s four games. And, following the acquisition of Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid earlier this month, his chances will have further gone down this month.
While the Englishman can play in advanced roles, the signing of Gareth Bale adds plenty of depth to the attacking unit as well, meaning Sessegnon is very much likely to struggle for game time at Tottenham.
As a result, the club are now considering loaning out the youngster for the current season in order to continue his development.
And there seems to be no shortage of suitors for Sessegnon, with three clubs – Burnley, Southampton and Brighton & Hove Albion vying for his signature. (h/t The Telegraph)

There is no denying that Sessegnon is a footballer brimming with potential. However, for him to grow and realise that potential, game time is necessary at this juncture of his career.
With regular minutes not guaranteed at Tottenham, a loan move would be in the best interest of the former Fulham man. Joining a top-flight side will provide him with more experience at this level and aid his development further.
