PSG ready offer for Dele Alli, who is ready to leave Tottenham

According to French publication RMC Sport (h/t Football.london), Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli is keen on leaving the club this summer with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain ready to pounce.

Alli’s situation at the club is far from favourable at the moment. From being an indispensable figure within the starting XI, the England international has gone on to become an afterthought under Jose Mourinho.

Alli has featured just two times this season – once in the season opener against Everton, when he was subbed off at half-time, before starting against KF Shkendija in Europa League. He hasn’t been part of the matchday squad for any of the other matches Spurs have been involved in.

Jose Mourinho has insisted that the England international remains part of his plans and will not be sacrificed this summer. However, his selection pattern hints otherwise.

Even though Mourinho was thinly stretched for options for Spurs’ Carabao Cup fourth round clash against Chelsea, the manager opted to leave Alli out of the matchday squad. This provides a strong indication that the 24-year-old is not part of his plans moving forward.

And, given his situation, the out of favour Tottenham midfield star is now keen on leaving the club before the transfer window closes. And, PSG are waiting in the wings to make a move for the former MK Dons ace. (h/t Football.london)

Former Tottenham star Jermaine Jenas recently urged Alli to move on after being treated this way by the manager.

And with PSG now reportedly confident of striking a deal for the Englishman, it may be so that we might see him leave after all. With less than a week left for the transfer window to close, we won’t have to wait for long to find out how this saga ends.
