Jose Mourinho aimed a dig at Arsene Wenger for omitting him from his autobiography

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has given his thoughts as to why Arsene Wenger omitted him from his autobiography.

In usual Mourinho style, the Portuguese tactician has given his reply in a hard-hitting fashion that hits home but also conveys the truth.

Speaking to the press ahead of the match against West Ham United, Mourinho was quizzed as to why he didn’t feature in Wenger’s autobiography ‘My Life in Red and White’

“It’s because he never beat me”

The Spurs boss however laughed off the situation by quoting that a book is something that should make one happy. Wenger never had much to celebrate against Mourinho and therefore has no reason to include him in the book.

“You are not going to do a chapter about 12 or 14 matches when you never win one. Why should he speak about me in his book.”

The two legendary managers shared a bitter rivalry, especially during Mourinho’s stint at Chelsea. Wenger had just led Arsenal to an invincible season in 2004.
