PSG could return for Dele Alli in the January transfer window
According to a report from the Daily Mail, French champions PSG could rekindle their interest in Tottenham star Dele Alli, who continues to be frozen out by manager Jose Mourinho.
Alli finds himself in a difficult situation at Tottenham as the Englishman has fallen out of favour under Mourinho. The 24-year-old has hardly featured over the course of the new season. He has been completely left out of matchday squads on a number of occasions already.
And, as per the report, Alli is still in the dark as to why he has been reduced to a bit-part player by Jose with discussions yet to take place between the player and the manager. This has left the England international frustrated.
PSG had tried to sign Alli on loan in the summer transfer window. However, Les Parisiens had as many as three loan bids rejected for the former MK Dons midfielder. (h/t Daily Mail)
Alli hasn’t been given any explanation as to why he wasn’t allowed to leave if he wasn’t a part of the plans. And with the midfielder’s place in the England squad for next summer’s Euros in question, there is a possibility that he could still leave on loan during the winter window. (h/t Daily Mail)
And should Alli be made available in January, PSG are likely to return with another offer to try and sign the 24-year-old, claims the report.
