Tottenham Hotspur fans react as Harry Kane scores 150th Premier League goal
This past week was a memorable one for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane. The 27-year-old achieved a huge milestone during the UEFA Europa League game against Ludogorets, netting his 200th goal for Tottenham in all competitions.
And at the weekend, he followed it up with another special accomplishment, as he found the back of the late in the game to seal an important win for Tottenham against West Bromwich Albion. Kane’s goal against the Baggies was his 150th in the Premier League, making him just the 10th player in the history of the competition to reach that landmark.
It also moved Kane level with Liverpool legend Michael Owen as the all-time ninth-highest goal-getter in the Premier League. Kane is now 12 shy of Jermain Defoe (162).
Considering the form that the England captain has been in, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him move past Defoe, as well as Robbie Fowler (163) on the list over the course of the ongoing season.
Naturally, the fans were ecstatic to see one of our own reach another personal career milestone while also helping the team to an important victory. And the supporters took to social media to celebrate Kane reaching the landmark.
