Harry Kane warns Tottenham Hotspur against losing to fellow challengers
According to the Daily Star, Harry Kane has backed Tottenham Hotspur to succeed under Jose Mourinho.
The England skipper, however, believes Spurs should be able to hold their own against the big teams. The club is currently a point off top spot and have strengthened well in the summer.
Often it has been the case of potential going unfulfilled at Tottenham. Under Mauricio Pochettino, we showcased much promise but it eventually led us nowhere. Mourinho, however, is a different breed. The Portuguese tactician is a bonafide winner known for his gluttony of trophies.
While there is still a long way to go in the campaign, Kane is remaining upbeat about his team’s chances. (h/t Daily Star)
“There is a long way to go, we are in a solid place at the moment.”
With us set to face Manchester City, Chelsea, and Arsenal in the next three Premier League games, Spurs’ title credentials will truly be put to the test.
Kane has backed the leadership and the experience in the squad to help them through what could be a defining period in the season. (h/t Daily Star)
“We have got players who have won things in the changing room.”
Spurs have, in recent times, never been able to see a challenge through. If we can get maximum points from the next three games, we could seize the initiative for the Premier League title.

The coronavirus pandemic and injuries could, in a way, have a say where the title ends up. Liverpool is the latest team to be handicapped by both of them and Spurs can take advantage of the misfortune of one of our biggest challengers.
Similarly, we will have our own challenges to overcome. Spurs have never been in such a position of strength and it is up to the players to make the most of it.
