Fans react to Oliver Skipp performance for England U21 against Albania
Tottenham Hotspur youngster Oliver Skipp impressed for the England U21 side as they thrashed Albania 5-0 in their UEFA Euro 2021 qualification fixture on Tuesday.
Skipp, who is currently away on loan at EFL Championship side Norwich City, has done well in the second division so far this term and carried that form to the international stages as England ran riot against Albania.
Goals from Eddie Nketiah (2), Callum Hudson-Odoi, James Justin and Jamal Musiala fired the U21s to a comfortable win. And Skipp put up an eye-catching display in the middle of the park alongside Tom Davies.
The most noteworthy moment in the Tottenham starlet’s display came in the 36th minute when the 20-year-old received a ball from Musiala only to find him with a brilliantly executed first-time pass setting the Bayern Munich youngster to score.
