Dele Alli could leave Tottenham in January claims David Ornstein
Speaking on his YouTube show, reputed journalist David Ornstein has provided a major update on the future of Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli ahead of the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old Alli finds himself frozen out of the first-team picture at Tottenham with Jose Mourinho hardly using him so far in the new season. The England international has started just three matches across all competitions, coming off at half-time in two of those.
Alli’s situation had led to interest from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window. However, a loan move failed to materialise before the window closed, Ornstein has revealed.
“PSG had a number of loan approaches knocked back by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, who really likes Dele and wants him to stay.”
The journalist, however, reckons that Alli could be on the move come January, as he doesn’t fit into the scheme of things under Jose.
“There’s been no bust-up or fall out, but it feels like he doesn’t suit Jose Mourinho’s structure. It leads me to feel that Dele Alli will want to move in January, it’s just about whether or not it’s on loan or permanent.”

Considering his current plight within the club, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if Alli wanted to leave in January. Especially considering that the Euros are coming next summer and his place in the England squad is at stake.
