Fans react as Carlos Vinicius is voted Europa League Player of the Week

Tottenham Hotspur striker Carlos Vinicius has been voted the UEFA Europa League Player of the Week after his brilliant performance against Ludogorets on Thursday night.

Starting against the Bulgarian outfit, the 25-year-old Brazilian scored his first goal for Tottenham on the night before adding his second before half-time. He also got an assist to his name on the night as well, setting Lucas Moura up for a goal in the second half as Tottenham registered a resounding 4-0 win.

It was a brilliant performance from Vinicius, who hasn’t had it all straightforward at the club. Indeed, since arriving at the club on loan from SL Benfica this past summer, the Brazilian has had to wait for his opportunities in Jose Mourinho’s side.
