Tottenham Hotspur fans react as Son Heung-Min wins goal of the month award
As confirmed by the club’s official Twitter account, Son Heung-Min has won the award for the Tottenham Hotspur goal of the month for November.
The South Korean ace’s strike against Manchester City was adjudged to be the best strike by a Spurs star last month. The cool finish saw us take the lead on the night against Pep Guardiola’s side, cementing our claim as genuine title challengers.
Spurs went on to win the game 2-0 en route to their current position at the top of the Premier League standings.

It is yet another accolade for Son, who is enjoying an impressive run of form this season. The 28-year-old has netted an impressive 13 goals and laid off six assists in just 17 games so far this season. (h/t Transfermarkt)
Son has also gone on to raise the bar to ensure he has a chance at retaining the award even for December. His strike against Arsenal last week will once again be in the running to win the club’s goal of the month.
Some fans were miffed that Harry Winks’ wonder striker against Ludogorets did not win the award for November. While there is merit in the argument, Son edging him out shows the clout the South Korean has among Spurs supporters.
