Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-Min would consider Real Madrid switch

According to OkDiario (h/t The Express), prolific Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-Min has emerged as a top target for Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The 28-year-old South Korean joined Tottenham from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015. Over the past five years, Son has grown into one of the best attackers in the Premier League.

He has taken his game up a notch this season. Alongside Harry Kane, he has been in the thick of goals for Spurs this season. With 15 goals so far, he is the club’s top-scorer and has accounted for 30% of our goals this season. (h/t BBC)

It appears that Son would be open to a move to the Santiago Bernabeu provided he is afforded superstar status in the Spanish capital. Los Blancos have lacked an infallible scorer since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. Eden Hazard has failed to take on the mantle and has struggled so far.

Real believe Son has what it takes to become a force down the left flank. They believe the South Korean can turn into a goal-scoring phenom reminiscent of their former No.7.

While the Spaniards remain interested. Son is not their top target for next summer. That spot is reserved for French sensation Kylian Mbappe, with Erling Haaland also in the mix.

The South Korean currently earns £150,000-a-week, and Tottenham will be offering a 25% increase. They are confident that the forward will pen the deal.
