Tanguy Ndombele backed to become an elite player by Joe Rodon
According to Football.london, Tottenham Hotspur defender, Joe Rodon has backed teammate Tanguy Ndombele to turn into an elite player, after his performance against Sheffield United.
Ndombele, after a difficult first season at the club, is starting to live up to his immense potential. The Frenchman has been one of our top players this season. He produced a moment of magic on Sunday when he scored an outrageous goal to help us get a 3-1 win over Sheffield United.
Having forced his way back into manager Jose Mourinho’s good books, it seems like Ndombele has been making quite the impression on his teammates on the field and in training as well if Rodon’s words are to go by.
“He’s a very top player and that goal doesn’t surprise me to be honest because he does spectacular things in training all the time. I’m delighted for him.”
The Welshman, who was starting just his second Premier League game against the Blades, further insisted that the former Olympique Lyon man has what it takes to become a great player at the club.
“I think the club bought him for a reason. He’s a top player and he’s only going to get better and better, the more games he plays. Hopefully he becomes what we all think he can be – an elite player.”

In 24 games across all competitions, Ndombele has already scored four goals and set up three more. The 24-year-old has certainly upped the game this season. And hopefully, he continues in the same vein of form for the rest of the season.
