Trabzonspor make an offer for Tottenham Hotspur outcast Danny Rose
According to Turkish publication A Spor (h/t Daily Mail), Turkish outfit Trabzonspor have made an offer to sign out-of-favour Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose in the ongoing transfer window.
The 30-year-old has been out of favour under Jose Mourinho, having fallen out with him last year. Rose spent the second half of the 2019/20 campaign at Newcastle United. Having returned to the club in the summer, the Englishman has been frozen out of the first-team picture by Mourinho.
Indeed, Rose was excluded from our official squads for the Premier League and the UEFA Europa League. In addition, he was also not given a shirt number for the season. The left-back has been training with the reserves this entire season and has even played a few games for them in the Premier League 2.
Rose’s contract expires at the end of the season. Tottenham are said to be open to offers for the former Leeds United man in the mid-season trading period.
Now, Trabzonspor have made an approach for the Englishman and have made an offer to sign the 30-year-old. It is claimed that talks will now begin between the Turkish giants, Rose and Tottenham over how to further proceed.
It has been claimed that Rose could buy out his contract so as to secure a transfer away from Tottenham before the end of the January transfer window.

Rose is also attracting interest from Premier League relegation battlers West Bromwich Albion. However, the Englishman favours a transfer abroad. (h/t The Sun)
It remains to be seen as to where Rose ends up. But, it is looking increasingly likely that the defender will be out of Tottenham this month.
