Twitter reacts as Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane suffers injury setback
Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a massive blow with star striker Harry Kane suffering an ankle injury. The English skipper lasted just 45 minutes and was taken off at half-time against Liverpool.
The change was clearly visible as Spurs lacked a focal point in attack. This would come back to haunt us as we failed to create anything of note in the final third.
Given Kane’s history of ankle injuries, seeing him go down had a sense of deja vu about it. The 27-year-old injured his ankle twice in 2016/17 before tearing his ankle ligaments the following year.
The Tottenham attack has been heavily reliant on Kane and Son Heung-Min this season. The loss of our talismanic striker could not have come at a worse time. Speaking after the game, Mourinho admitted to taking a ‘wait and see’ approach to determine how long the striker will be out for.
Thankfully, unlike previous seasons, we do have a back-up striker in Carlos Vinicius to call upon. Hopefully, the Brazilian will step up and make this opportunity count. Spurs play Brighton and Hove Albion next at the weekend.

Why does Kane get the same injury this time of the year. This has happened for the last 3 seasons 🤔🤔. We have another sticker give him more minutes, well he may get them now
