Trabzonspor reach an agreement with Tottenham for Danny Rose transfer
According to talkSPORT (h/t Daily Mail), Turkish outfit Trabzonspor have reached an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur over the transfer of out-of-favour defender Danny Rose.
The 30-year-old is the longest-serving member at Tottenham currently, having been at the club since 2007 when he made the switch from Leeds United. However, over the past year or so, Rose has been out of favour, having had a major falling out with manager Jose Mourinho.
This led to Rose spending the second half of the last season out on loan at Newcastle United. Having returned to the club in the summer, the England international was frozen out of the first-team. Indeed, the left-back was not given a kit number and was axed from the official squads in the Premier League and Europa League.
Furthermore, Rose was also made to train with the development squad, with the seasoned campaigner having also featured a couple of times for the reserves in the Premier League 2.
However, Rose’s misery at Tottenham could soon come to an end as Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor have agreed a deal with the north London outfit to sign the 30-year-old. It is claimed that they have offered the ex-Leeds United man a three-and-a-half-year contract.
This comes after it had been reported earlier in the week that Rose was prepared to stay put at Tottenham and see out his contract which runs out at the end of the season.

Given that he has no future whatsoever at the club, it is only fair that Tottenham let Rose leave. With the club now agreeing a deal with Trabzonspor, it now remains to be seen if the transfer goes through.
