Ipswich Town in talks with Tottenham over deadline day loan move for Troy Parrott
According to the Evening Standard’s Dan Kilpatrick on Twitter, Tottenham are set to cut short the loan spell of Troy Parrott at Millwall and send him out on another temporary spell at Ipswich Town on deadline day.
The 18-year-old striker, a product of the Tottenham academy, broke into the senior team last season. However, with opportunities not forthcoming, Parrott was sent out on loan to Millwall, to help continue his development.
Having made the switch to the Championship club, the Irish striker struggled with injuries early in his spell at the club. When fit, the forward did not get a host of opportunities while he failed to make the most of the chances that did come his way.
So far, Parrott has featured 14 times for Millwall and is yet to score a single goal. With things not working out for him at the club, Tottenham are now set to recall him on the transfer deadline day.
Instead, Spurs are said to be in talks with EFL League One club Ipswich Town over a potential loan move for the teenage forward for the rest of the season.

Parrott is a promising young striker with a bright future ahead of him. It is a shame that things haven’t worked out for him at Millwall. And we can hope that he fares better at Ipswich Town should he complete a move to the club on the deadline day.
